I opened it the first time, and realized my files were gone from the desktop, but found them easily from the windows. I took my music files from the windows. I then restarted the computer to find that my Windows 8.

I am afraid that my files became stuck in the “space” between the restarts. I have tried system restores to the date before the upgrade, and I also tried to downgrade back to 8.
