For Windows 7 and higher users, Docker provides Docker Toolboxan installer that includes everything needed to configure and launch a Docker environment. Docker Toolbox requires bit Windows 7 or higher.

Install Docker Toolbox by double-clicking the installer. In this step, you start Docker Toolbox and run a simple Docker command. Press Next to accept all the defaults and then Install. Instead, you must use the Docker Machine command, docker-machineto create and attach to a small Linux VM on your machine.
